The MILSYM™ Symbology Service leverages the MILSYM^™ Rendering Framework to provide the means to retrieve an image of a single military point symbol through a RESTful service API.

This service is useful to:

• loosely couple the point symbology rendering with the target application or service.
• centralize the production of point symbology for consistency, maintenance and quality purposes.
• to reduce development and deployment costs when upgrading an network of systems, applications and services to a new symbology standard version.
